At GLO Hotel Sello, we take pride in supporting diversity, collaborating with local organizations, and undertaking various initiatives that promote community well-being and environmental protection. Below are the actions through which we support our community.

Pride & Diversity

GLO Hotel Sello has proudly been one of the main sponsors of Helsinki Pride since 2015. We believe in the unique talents of all individuals, regardless of their gender, ethnic origin, age, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or disabilities. To provide the best experiences for our guests, we embrace diversity and challenge traditional recruitment and promotion practices.

Blue Ribbon Organization (Sininauhasäätiö)

Since 2023, GLO Hotel Sello has been a key partner of the Blue Ribbon Organization (Sininauhasäätiö). As part of our commitment to social responsibility, we assist the homeless and others in vulnerable situations. We donate lost and found items such as clothes and shoes to the organization. Every year, we co-organize the Lonely Christmas Tree event with Sininauhasäätiö to collect Christmas gifts for the less fortunate. Additionally, we arrange charity events to raise funds and have many more projects planned.

Aula Työkodit

We collaborate with Aula Työkodit to offer training opportunities for individuals who need support in building their lives. The association aims to support young people with developmental disabilities by providing various livelihood opportunities.

Community Cleaning Day

Every year, we organize a Cleaning Day event with the local elementary school, Ruusutorpan koulu. Together with the kids, we clean the neighborhood and afterward, we provide lunch, snacks, and refreshments.

Espoo Artotheque (Espoon Taidelainaamo)

We offer our lobby area to Espoo Artotheque (Espoon Taidelainaamo) for exhibiting artists' works. Run by the Espoo Visual Artists′ Association, this initiative aims to promote the professional development of visual artists in Espoo and raise general interest in visual arts.

Book Swap

We have a book swap in the lobby where guests or locals can exchange books, fostering a love for reading and sharing.

Inclusivity Training

We provide inclusivity training for all our staff to ensure that everyone feels welcome and respected at GLO Hotel Sello.
